Battle of Marianna
Little Known Fact

Littleton Myrick, who lost his
life in the Battle of Marianna,
was one of a number of men
from Jackson County who
served in Company B, 15th
Confederate Cavalry. The
regiment was formed by
combining independent
companies from Florida and
Alabama into a regular unit.
Myricks grave is in St. Luke's
Cemetery, just feet from
where he fell during the battle.
